Janet Robertson was diagnosed with breast cancer in 1994, but that hasn't stopped her from being active within her community. She dedicates her time to helping patients, volunteers, families and staff of Hospice Renfrew. For over
20 years, she has raised funds for the Mammography Unit and Oncology Department of the Renfrew Victoria Hospital. In 2013, she was hospitalized following a cancer relapse, but continued to direct and manage charitable projects. Her latest Celebration of Life event raised $30,000 for Hospice Renfrew, the Renfrew Victoria Hospital, and the Doctor Recruitment Program.
