Megan Kaminski

Members of her community say that Megan Kaminski is always busy doing something. As Student Union president of her high school, she helped initiate a fundraiser for Free the Children's Adopt a Village campaign, a program to assist communities in developing countries by building schools, establishing sanitation and health programs, finding alternative incomes and addressing food security . In her parish, she was a reader, a greeter and a youth leader. In her community, she has fundraised for the Margaret Savage Crisis Centre, Healthy Babies, and the Tri-Town Emergency Food Bank. Most recently, she was chosen to sit on the Minister's advisory council with Alberta Education and lend a youth voice on education issues.
