Normand Thisdel has always sought to be actively involved in his community. Since 1994, he has been a member
of the Knights of Columbus, serving as chancellor, deputy grand knight and grand knight within the organization.
In addition, he volunteers at blood drives for the Red Cross and Héma-Québec, is a member of the parish
and is involved with the Francophone Cursillo Movement of Canada.
