Burleigh Lloyd has made significant contributions to the unity of his small isolated northern community by organizing activities for the Granisle Senior Citizens Association. He is known for his leadership by example. His frank, forthright and energetic approach is also instrumental in the local Lions Club, the Curling Rink and in the recent establishment of a cenotaph in the village.
