Doris Kingyens-Daigle, Virginiatown, Ontario
Governor General's Caring Canadian Award
Involved in many aspects of the community for the past fifteen years Doris Kingyens-Daigle organized and ran the local Girl Guides including the summer camp at a local lake. She has also served in her church and, in almost any organized activity at the local Recreation Centre, she can be found close at hand with a first-aid kit as a member of the local volunteer ambulance service.
