Starting as a teenage volunteer Camp Counsellor, Charles Hurst has been involved in YMCA activities his whole life. Following his retirement, he shared his professional expertise with developing countries as a volunteer and has since founded and guided the Ottawa West Senior Support Services, which enables seniors to maintain independent homes and lives.
