Governor General's Caring Canadian Award

Joan Sinclair has been volunteering for the Big Brothers and Big Sisters Association for many years and, in the past three years alone, she has contributed more than 700 hours to the organization. She has dedicated many hours to fundraising events for the Lloydminster and Area Brain Injury Society (LABIS). Recent ill health has not deterred her from fulfilling many of her volunteer responsibilities. She continues to work at two charity bingos per month, sometimes working double shifts to fill in for other volunteers. Mrs. Sinclair is recognized for her caring work as well as her guidance and encouragement to other volunteers.
