Juliette Rousseau has been an involved member of her community for over 52 years. She worked with the Montréal scout and guide movement for 12 years. For nearly 18 years, she has served as a volunteer at the Saint-Joseph Hospital in Rosemont, where she visits patients and organizes sewing, reading and other activities. She was also president of the auxiliary for many years. Since 1955, Mrs. Rousseau has been a spokesperson for the Arthritis Society and has participated in its fundraising activities. At the Cité de la Santé de Laval, she continues to escort patients to their cancer treatment sessions.
