As the driving force behind "Les Paniers de l'espoir," Rock Guertin has been mobilizing all of the resources needed to put together Christmas baskets for nearly 1,000 families in the Sherbrooke area for the past 20 years. Through the foundation that bears his name, he also provides assistance to community organizations that serve the poorest members of the community. Mr. Guertin works with the needy year round, spending a minimum of four hours a day, four days a week helping out with fundraising, negotiating with grocers and transporting donated food.
