Over the past 40 years, Jean-Yves Phaneuf has initiated numerous projects that have led to the development of soccer in his community and even across Canada. Among his greatest achievements as a volunteer are the founding of the Granby Cosmos in 1978, and the Tournoi international de soccer Jean-Yves Phaneuf de Granby.
