Governor General's Caring Canadian Award
For eleven years, Robert Mackay served as voluntary director of the Seniors' Lottery of British Columbia and the Seniors' Funding Society of British Columbia. He is a member of the committee that chooses British Columbia's Senior of the Year. He is also actively involved in the Duke of Edinburgh Award Program at the provincial and national levels, and has contributed to his community in the areas of tourism, Aboriginal causes and the arts.
