Governor General's Caring Canadian Award
Through his involvement at local, regional and provincial levels of the 4-H Council and Foundation, Jerry Hall has dedicated himself to encouraging young people to participate fully in their communities. In addition to serving as provincial chair of the Foundation, Mr. Hall has actively supported the organization as a spokesperson, coach and fund-raiser. He regularly travels hundreds of kilometres to attend meetings, and is always ready to roll up his sleeves and work alongside volunteers. Mr. Hall also devotes many hours on behalf of his church to providing musical entertainment for the residents of long-term care facilities.
