    Izetta Hobbs, Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario Governor General's Caring Canadian Award Selflessly sharing her time and leadership with a wide variety of organizations that serve people of all ages, Izetta Hobbs has been an inspiration to her community for more than twenty years. She was instrumental in founding the local Big Sisters Association, a chapter of the Canadian Hearing Society, and Sault Ste. Marie's United Way Volunteer Centre. In addition, since 1991, she has been actively involved with the Focus Community Coalition's work on substance abuse prevention among youth.
