Sheila Nelles has donated her time and talents to a number of worthy causes. For six years, she dedicated herself to a variety of Village of Rockcliffe Park concerns. She volunteered as a Board member of the Family Service Centre of Ottawa-Carleton for eight years and is now a Director of Family Service Canada. She also assists weekly at cancer clinics at a local hospital, quietly offering her support, and volunteers at her local public library and at an annual school book fair.
