Joan Johnson quietly devotes her life and time to the needs of her neighbours and community. She helped the youth of her community by serving as a foster parent, as well as through her involvement in the Brownies and the Pioneer Girls. For many years, she tutored people with literacy problems. In addition, she contributes to her parish in a variety of ways, and takes care of sick or injured neighbours.
