Governor General's Caring Canadian Award
Douglas Rogers has been a long-time volunteer with several community service organizations, including the Hope Cottage soup kitchen, the Salvation Army, the Canadian Red Cross and the Canadian Mental Health Association. He helps out in whatever capacity is necessary and also participates in canvassing and other fundraising projects. In addition, he makes ceramics and donates the money he makes to the Canadian Mental Health Association Social Club.
