Governor General's Caring Canadian Award
Through various organizations and of his own initiative, Guy Poitras has been helping immigrants become established in Calgary for more than thirty years. He has been active with the Catholic Immigration Society and the Feed the Hungry Program. Mr. Poitras has served as President of the Lions Club, Charity Appeal Chair of the Knights of Columbus and as a member of Olympic fundraising committees.
