John Gibb is an active volunteer at The Cambridge, a seniors' residence in his hometown. He sets up bingo games three times a week and encourages new residents to join. He also organizes events for Remembrance Day, Canada Day and St. Jean Baptiste Day. In addition, he convinced city officials to place a bus stop and shelter in front of The Cambridge, so that residents could have greater access to the wider community.
