Governor General's Caring Canadian Award
Over the years, Josephine Eisenhauer has been active with youth movements, her church and Meals-on-Wheels, and has raised funds for a number of charitable organizations. Equally concerned with the health of her community, she successfully oversaw the merger of two local hospitals, helped establish a regional detoxification unit, is involved in the provincial Ladies Hospital Auxiliaries, and visits people with illnesses and disabilities.
