Governor General's Caring Canadian Award
Herman Ho's service to the youth of his community started at a very early age. After serving with the Cubs and Rovers, he became a volunteer coordinator and canvasser with the Salvation Army. Since 1988, Mr. Ho has been Area Representative and Youth Leader with the Duke of Edinburgh's Awards, B.C. and Yukon Division. As Corps Superintendent of the Lower Mainland Cadet Corps of the Saint John Ambulance Brigade and as an advisor and instructor with Scouts Canada, he has demonstrated his continued devotion to the development of youth.
