Susan Hannah Little, Thunder Bay, Ontario
Governor General's Caring Canadian Award
For over 40 years, Susan Little has contributed to the Girl Guides of Canada as a commissioner, cook, bookkeeper, treasurer and photographer. For 30 years, she has similarly helped in many ways with the Navy League Cadets, serving as treasurer, cook and caterer. In addition, her great organizational skills have always ensured the success of all events organized by the Thunder Bay Naval Association. She has also volunteered to help with naval veterans' get-togethers. Many Guides and former Cadets can still recall Mrs. Little's personal kindness, guidance and gentle help.
