Tyler-Miles Pongracz has volunteered with the Royal Canadian Legion for several years, visiting with veterans living in retirement homes, leading the colour party at memorials and ceremonies, and speaking at local school Remembrance Day ceremonies about his experiences in Afghanistan. He also volunteers with the local Royal Canadian Army Cadet unit.
