Elizabeth (Betty) Carlson

Betty Carlson served as a trustee of the University of Alberta Hospital Foundation and was also the founder of its Festival of Trees, an annual Christmas fundraiser featuring seasonal displays and community events. She has been an active volunteer with the Northern Alberta Institute of Technology and Fashion with Compassion. As well, she co-founded Sorrentino's Compassion House, a home away from home for breast cancer patients.
