Ms. Helen Ghent, Sudbury: For over 40 years, Helen Ghent has volunteered with a variety of charities, most notably, the Canadian Cancer Society, where she was a member, director and then president of the Ontario division. Chair of the Ontario Campaign for Action on Tobacco, she is particularly passionate about initiatives involving cancer research and anti-smoking and has contributed tirelessly to these causes.
