Through his active involvement, John Clark has demonstrated an extraordinary level of commitment to his fellow Canadians. During his long association with the YMCA, he worked on many fundraising efforts, such as the "Thanks a Million" campaign, which contributed towards the renovation of the local facilities. He has also been a long-time supporter of the Fredericton Community Foundation, which funds various charitable activities and community projects. His many endeavours as former Chairman and current director of the Chalmers Regional Hospital Foundation have facilitated the purchase of much-needed medical equipment and improved health care accessibility for the people of New Brunswick.
