Social Worker, Terumi Kuwada has been very active in her community for over 25 years. She has been the leader of several non-profit organizations including the National Association of Japanese-Canadian (NAJC) where she planned and organized numerous events related to human rights and to multiculturalism. She was also very involved with United Way and the Winnipeg Folk Arts Council. Ms. Kuwada contribution was highly appreciated by the multicultural communities and has demonstrated a true sense of community.
