For more than 20 years, Francis Bleeker has been a proponent of veterans’ rights and remembrance, and has helped create connections between civilians and military personnel in Canada and the Netherlands. Notably, he ensured that the life of a Canadian soldier killed during the Second World War would be remembered by his family, his country, and the international community.
