Jeffrey Charles McCarthy has been teaching Cadets of the Black Watch Cadet Corps 2947 Pipes & Drums to play the bagpipes since 1993. He has led a group of instructors who have taught at least a dozen aspiring cadet pipers and drummers since 2016, and has continued to encourage and assist students through virtual classes and practices during the pandemic.
