    Since the 1980s, Dominique Chagnon has been volunteering with the Red Cross in various capacities, including as a medical coordinator with the Canadian society, and on humanitarian missions with the American Red Cross in the 1990s. An avid fundraiser, he recently served on the organizing committee of the 12e Omnium de golf, hosted by the Fondation des Amis de l’Aviation royale du Canada, which raised more than $170,000 for the local Military Family Resource Centre and the Quebec Veterans Foundation.
