For nearly half a century, John Douglas Heine has been serving his community through his involvement with the Medicine Hat Kiwanis Club, where he has been the club’s representative to the local army cadet corps since 1998. He is also chair of the Senior Citizens Advisory Committee Foundation, which fundraises to support the purchase of new fitness equipment and art supplies for local seniors’ centres.
