Karen Nordgaard cares deeply about those on the margins of society. She has worked hard in the service of her community through the Calgary Inter-Faith Food Bank, the Bragg Creek Seniors Housing Society and the Calgary Drop-In Center, which provides temporary shelter, meals and social services and which she helped to found in 1961.
