For 14 years, Patrick Madden led a team of researchers and divers in the recovery of a 1928 Fokker Standard Universal aircraft from the bottom of Charron Lake, in northern Manitoba, to be displayed at the Royal Aviation Museum of Western Canada. He now travels throughout North America, offering educational lectures on the aircraft and the pilots who flew it.
