Since 2005, Wilemina Bowkett has been serving in various positions with the Royal Canadian Legion, including secretary, first vice-president and cadet liaison. She attends conventions with Dominion Command and Veterans Affairs Canada to learn how to best support veterans, and also coordinates volunteers and logistics for the branch’s fundraisers and events.
