Lera Shirley has held many positions with the Navy League of Canada’s Calgary branch over the course of three decades and was instrumental in creating the branch’s bingo league to raise funds for local cadets. A member of the local Royal Canadian Legion since 2004, she currently serves as treasurer and ensures the legality of casinos and events.
