Valerie Maier has been volunteering with The Primate’s World Relief and Development Fund since 2010, serving as the local coordinator of the Ottawa committee and currently as the national board president. As a volunteer minister with the Anglican Church in Mayo, she has collaborated with the Na-Cho Nyak Dun First Nation and local establishments to create wellness and health care initiatives like a weekly community lunch program and a parenting group.
