For nearly two decades, Owen Parkhouse has served the Royal Canadian Legion as president of his local branch, first vice-president of the Prince Edward Island Command, and chair of Dominion Command’s public relations committee. He is also the chair of St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church in Montague, and was active member of the Canadian Home and School Federation at the local and provincial levels.
