At 14 years old, Stanley Halliday became the youngest honorary member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #72 by coaching minor hockey and baseball as part of the Legion’s sports programs. He spent the next 50 years serving as branch president, District G commander and chair of the sports committee.
