Since 1990, Jacques Fafard has been raising funds for Muscular Dystrophy Canada, and has served as the president of the Quebec Provincial Firefighter Advisory Committee since 2008. He was also involved in the creation of the Centre Communautaire Drummondville-Sud, and has been volunteering with both the Canadian Cancer Society and Héma Québec for more than 25 years.
