For more than 34 years, Sheila Fahlman has volunteered with Girl Guides of Canada as an educator and program manager, and as Saskatchewan provincial commissioner, the most senior volunteer role in Guiding. In 2006, she helped establish Grandmothers 4 Grandmothers Regina, which raises funds through the Stephen Lewis Foundation to support grandmothers caring for children orphaned by AIDS.
