Over the past decade, Anita Laipnieks has used her skills as a paramedic to provide humanitarian aid in response to crises around the world. Through her involvement with GlobalMedic and Medics HELP, she has travelled to the Philippines, Ukraine, Kenya and Haiti, where her volunteer work as a coordinator, trainer and medic has helped save lives.
