    As a lead organizer of the High Rise Challenge for Muscular Dystrophy Canada, Mario Martin has been instrumental in increasing participation in and funds raised for the event. He has been an active member of the Quebec Provincial Firefighter Advisory Committee since 2002, and has also volunteered with La Fondation des pompiers du Québec pour les grands brûlés.
