Steeve Brown is an active member and president of the 209 Arvida Branch of the Royal Canadian Legion. As president, he has led fundraising campaigns to renovate the building and worked with city officials on the Oriflamme project, an initiative to commemorate Remembrance Week. This projects features the faces of 40 local veterans on banners in the patrimonial site of downtown Arvida.
