Since the 1960s, Jack St-Onge has supported minor league hockey in the Mauricie region as president of the Association de hockey mineur de Shawinigan and as founding president of the Tournoi Atome Desjardins de Shawinigan. He organizes the annual Tournoi de golf Jack St-Onge fundraiser, and has dedicated more than 50 years to the coordination of the Comité des loisirs de Shawinigan bingo events.
