Since joining the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 551 in 1998, Sheila Latner has served as first, second and third vice-president, and currently serves as president. Over the years, she has organized numerous successful events, such as the annual fundraising golf tournament and the Remember Everyone Deployed initiative, which asks civilians to wear red in support of active Canadian Forces members.
