Since 2010, Dolande Fortin has been promoting the arts, tourism and economic development in the community of Rivière-Éternité. She has volunteered with such organizations as the Comité de promotion des arts du Bas-Saguenay, Regroupement des artistes et artisans de Rivière-Éternité, Cercle de l’AFEAS, Corporation des crèches de Noël, the Auberge du Presbytère and its canteen, and the Comité touristique du Bas-Saguenay.
