For the past 45 years, Shirley Schneider has been a positive force for teen mothers. Through the Shirley Schneider Support Program, a tutorial series held at Balfour Collegiate, she supports teenaged mothers in their education. She is also involved in the Mackenzie Infant Care Centre, which cares for children while their mothers attend school.
