Virginia Smith has been volunteering with Swim Nova Scotia for over four decades, notably as head coach of the Yarmouth Whitecaps Swim Team, since 1973. Her devotion to the team, in addition to her enthusiastic promotion of respect and comradery, has resonated with swimming communities throughout the Atlantic Provinces.
