For over four decades, volunteer coach Dave Nelson has made a difference in the lives of hundreds of young men and women involved in sports programs in Burlington. His dedication as president of the Golden Horseshoe Touch Football Association has ensured the longevity of the league at a time when many other communities are seeing their leagues fold.
