Catherine Ingles started volunteering 45 years ago as a tutor in high school and as a helper at the South Okanagan General Hospital. More recently, she has helped local youth by teaching summer school, participating in air cadet programs, mentoring candidates for the Duke of Edinburgh’s Award program, and welcoming foreign students into her home. She also fills and wraps Christmas gift boxes for the underprivileged.
