For 50 years, Neil Lester has been a drum major with the Windsor Police Pipe Band and a member of the Piper and Pipe Band Society of Ontario. He has led many youth bands in Windsor and also volunteers in Florida at the Sunshine Mobile Village, at a soup kitchen and at a thrift store.
